Hi,

What would you need in return to do the floppies? It only takes the 800kb ones.

Hi,

I like your enthusiasm trying to get & install the original OS which
came with the computer.
But if you would like to just play around with it instead of sticking
to historical preciseness I'd go for 6.0.8

For both of the options I can provide you with floppies if interested

Cheers

Hi everyone,

I just got the computer of my dreams today, a Mac SE! :D But it is a bit... weird. Its the superdrive model so it should have a hard drive as it only has one floppy drive.

But the hard drive will not show up, it will only boot when a "where in the world is carmin sandiego" game floppy is in it. The floppy has the game and somehow has the system installed on it.

So I am not in search of a system 4.1 floppy for it. I think that is the version it has now.

I don't have another mac that has a floppy drive, so I cannot make a floppy myself even though I have the image.

So I need a mac os 4.1 floppy. Or a different version of mac os that can run with 1mb of ram (i am assuming that how much the SE has as I don't know right now).
