It's a Seagate SCSI. I've got the jumper settings, but I can't remember
the model off hand. I'll post the URL here later so maybe someone can
point out the obvious that I've missed. It's got a set of jumpers to set
the SCSI ID and a set to control termination. It's got 3 termination
options, I think it's "drive powers itself", "drive powers itself and
controller" and "controller powers itself". I've tried the jumper in all
3 positions.

Another question (yes, I'm a mac newbie!). Is there a utilities floppy of
sorts for mac? I'm looking for something that boots MacOS (or at least a
usable form) and offers me basic stuff like format, partitioning,
etc. Sort of like Tom's Root Boot for linux or a rescue floppy in
Windows. Is there anything like that? I saw in Pickle's FAQ about
booting off another hard disk to accomplish a similar task but I'm curious
as to whether there's a floppy disk that accomplishes the same.
