Mark Benson asked, I need to know what the >clearance between the side of the case and the side of the drive is in >both machines, the IIsi and the IIci. I'll give you some measurements but first can you clarify . . . In past drive conversations it seems that though these drives are rectangular, people call the plug end the SIDE?? Is that what's going on? Anyway, on the IIci - between the metal of the Quantum 80 MB drive (plug side) and the power unit - 1 7/8". 3/8" from drive to inside front webbing of chassis. I robbed this drive from my IIsi so can't really measure that one. Now if someone can give me some names to add to the suspect list of TypeStyler 2 freeze-ups. . . twice in the last hour while trying to "save" and maddeningly losing the work. (my Centris 610) I just turned off Ram Doubler to try that. Mark, do I detect an English accent? Cheers, Sherlock Homes -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
