I'll give you some measurements but first can you clarify . . .
In past drive conversations it seems that though these
drives are rectangular, people call the plug end the SIDE??
Is that what's going on?

Anyway, on the IIci - between the metal of the Quantum 80 MB
drive (plug side) and the power unit - 1 7/8".
3/8" from drive to inside front webbing of chassis.
I robbed this drive from my IIsi so can't really measure that one.

Now if someone can give me some names to add to the suspect list
of TypeStyler 2 freeze-ups. . . twice in the last hour while trying
to "save" and maddeningly losing the work. (my Centris 610)
I just turned off Ram Doubler to try that.
