I need some advice about what would work, in turning my son's PC he got from his dad, into a machine capable of downloading and burning MP3's and possibly DVD's. There's no list I know of comparable to this site [LEM} where I can go to put these queries, so I'm throwing it out to the members here for offlist help. Dan has a low-end PC site going, but it gets very little traffic, so I"m forced to come back here and raise the question with this bunch, and hope no one takes it amiss.
