I've got one of those hanging on my 7100.
That counts as one.
Then there's 4 (four) RJ45 ports (With pretty lights!) to which I've 
got two more machines, a DSL router and a link to another Ethernet 
hub.

Yes it can do that but if I run it that way my Connectix QuickCam 
won't work so I have my Workgroup Hub running off an AC adapter (7.5v 
DC, thank you Radio Shack!) instead.
Works great!
