This is interesting because I plan on putting 3 Seagate Cheetah LVD drives in a G4-upgraded 9600 soon. Noise output is a consideration as the Mac will be a ProTools Audio machine but it can be put into a cupboard or isolated somehow. Internal heat has me worried though. With the original Fast SCSI drive on the top at the back, 2 Cheetahs in the 2 spare drive bays and the 3rd on the bottom of the case, with a G4 card in there too I'm afraid the case will melt! Or at least the expensive drives will cook themslves. Should I rig up some ventilation holes and a fan on one of the spare drive bay covers? (or can you buy something pre-made for exactly this purpose?). Cheers, Ben. -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
