The IIfx is a capable web machine if it is setup properly.

I had 32MB of Ram in mine along with a Jackhammer card and fast 2gig SCSI drive
and an 8*24GC video card. Running System 7.1 with some of the add in
appearance enhancements (+ ThreadMngr/DragMngr etc...) it did quite
well on the
Internet using Netscape 2.02 and IE 2.01 IIRC .

Performance with a 56K modem was acceptable and on par with a Pentium 266
machine running W95 that I had the great misfortune of having to use
at work at the time.

Running the IIfx with the addition of iCab and my ADSL connection it was a
solid performer!

Unfortunatly I no longer have this machine so I can't give you any
solid numbers
ie. page load speeds etc...
