Ok, perhaps a silly question, but I scored a LC 520 thrift store find this week, and in the front left there is a covered slot named "CD Caddy". SCSI Probe says there is a CD-ROM drive in the machine. BUT: Apple CD Player tells me it can't find it, and, if I attempt to put a CD into the caddy, it looks like it's just going to drop in the computer. I opened up the back and looked through, and I don't see what I'd expect to see if there was a CD drive in there. But I'm used to CD drives where there is a button on the front, and the tray comes out.
So, is there just something I am missing here? SCSI Probe is so sure the drive is installed that it gives the model number and everything. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
