I tried hacking the Apple Menu icon on my OS 9 Mac (would be Off Topic, but applies to old systems too). I found ics4 and ics8 Resource Ids -16386 and changed both of them from the OS 8+ style 3D color logo to the black logo that shows when you run Mac OS in grayscale. Saved, restarted, etc. but the hack didn't work. Does anyone know why not?
