As luck would have it I ran into one of those disk images this morning. <http://ludo28m.free.fr/mac/oldapp/ms-disk1.zip> After unzipping with Stuffit Expander 5.5 it was a file with FileType=IMGg and Creator=GKON. DiskCopy 6.3.3 mounted it OK but only if I dragged the file to DiskCopy 6.3.3's dialog window. It wouldn't work any other way.
