Got it to boot as I said earlier. Ran Disk First Aid 7.2.2 Found a small issue and repaired it. Then I DISABLED Every Extention and rebooted. Got an error (-42 IIRC) and it said to reboot and try it with the Extensions Disabled (as you can see I had Disabled them already). So, I made a new boot disk (wanted to try Norton and maybe Disinfectant) using System 7.1 (suitcase) and MultiFinder (1.0 off of my SE). This gets me to the nice rectangle which just shimmers (it never gets beyond that part).
I am at a loss. Any ideas?
