Well, on my Plus(es) I used MS Works 2.0a for most productivity stuff.
(read: calling BBSes using the Comms component, cause doing so on the Plus
was just so cool...). Anyway, you get WP, SpreadSheet, Comms and a flat-file
Database. Basic, useful, rather slick, and it all fits on an 800K diskette
with room for your files.

Looking back on apps like that, I often wonder is 90% or so of modern
program code is just random garbage, designed as filler to help 'encourage'
you to purchase this year's new computer.
