Thanks for all that, especially the bit about recycling codes - I was going
to crib bits of plastic from my dead Epson 500, before I saw that it was
made of Polystyrene. I assume that PowerBooks are ABS, but I'll look for a
code later today.

If it is ABS, I'll probably buy one of those ABS project cases from Dick
Smith's (read: Radio Shack) and use that.
