Olympus MOS330E MO Drive...

Someone just gave me one of these but I can't get it to mount and work 
as a drive in Mac OS. Device is recognised and the SCSI bus is OK, it 
just doesn't seem to want to format in anything. Are there drivers for 
this drive anywhere than anyone knows of? Silverlining 2.2.1 recognises 
it and can communicate with it but can't format the cartridge or mount 
it.

Any ideas?
