For further reference, Gamba has all the necessary files linked from his home page, along with the necessary patches to format non-Apple hard drives with HD Setup. Gamba's site is probably one of the greatest resources for the m68k Mac.
http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/ Yep, these files worked great for me while I was using a Maxtor 540mb SCSI with my LCIII, even though they'd been manipulated with my Windows PC using HFVExplorer (probably the greatest single utility I've ever used for cross-platforming!). BTW, I did finally get an Apple drive for my LCIII, and I'm still having fun with my retro-computing! Also, I've been able to get my external Panasonic KXL-783A CD-rom drive to work with the SCSI port on my Mac using cd sunrise that I found at Gamba's. By the way, it's off topic, but I'm thinking about adding a second Mac, and I'm currently planning to make it a G3 Minitower. Anything I should know? I'll probably use OS9 until I get a faster G3/G4 upgrade. Thanks, and I hope I didn't stray too far from topic. Denni -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
