Sounds like good advice.  I assume from what you are saying that 12 volt
bulbs are working off the battery all the time . . . even when plugged into
110 volt.

And as an added hint to keep the battery charged correctly, keep a small 12v
light going all the time. It keeps the battery trickling a discharged while
the univolt keeps a trickling charge. According to the technician, this is
actually good foe the battery.
