[VAC] wet awning

Hi All,
I have a question- another question.  I used my awning at the show and
durring the Thunder storm I found out it's not waterproof!!  Aren't they
suppossed to be?  Yes, I know it's old but it's a zip dee.  Are you
suppossed to treat it with something?  It leaked like a seive!!!
