Thanks Glen and Ken for getting back to me about the  brake tools I was 
referencing.  I was surprised to find out that it was really something that 
easily obtained.  So I guess what makes the brake line on beetles special is 
that it is the inverted flare?  Is that correct?  This is where the end of 
the line flares out but then that flare is folded back in on itself?  It's 
been awhile since I looked at a VW line but I remember from years ago on the 
list that the VW line was something special that most cars don't have.  Just 
what is it in particular that makes it special?  Thanks for the help.
