Thanks for this tidbit of info Lloyd.  I guess it behooves me to make sure that 
I use plenty of anti-seize if I'm going to remove and install the exhaust 
system while it is in the bug.  Does anyone know why it is or where it is 
exactly that causes a later model 1600 engine to hang-up in the engine bay of 
pre-1600 engines?
