You're right Ray. It appears this is an adapter to route all the oil to the cooler and since I don't run external coolers, this isn't what I'd be using. From CSP's website, they claim this pressure reliief valve is a poor oil thermostat. If you already have the thermostat in the pump face, then it seems to make sense to remove it as you don't need 2 of them. Still, the application is for remote oil coolers, so alas it's of no use to me.
