I believe that to a major degree it will come down to a personal preference.
For me, I disagree with almost everything Debbie said. Yes the Ipad has a
bigger screen, that is where our agreement ends. The Iphone 4s does come with a
64 mb model so the ipad doesn't have a larger memory than the biggist iphone. I
find the larger screen much less user friendly and can type about twice as fast
on an iphone versus an ipad. You can use a blue tooth keyboard with either
divice and there are some apps that are specificly made for the ipad and some
specificly made for the iphone, but overall, in my opinion, I see no reason to
purchase an ipad if you already own the iphone because it really doesn't do
much you can't already do. Roger

  Hi

I have used an iPhone as well as my iPad and I can tell you that the iPad is
a lot easier to use than the iPhone as the screen has a lot more room for
gestures and the keyboard is much bigger which makes typing a lot quicker.
Another advantage is that it can come with up to 64 GB of storage double the
highest amount the iPhone provides. As well the sound is even clear than the
iPhone which is saying something as the iPhone has quite good sound.

Also if you want a laptop-like experience with your iPad you can get a case
with a built-in Bluetooth keyboard. I don't think Apple sell them but I've
googled for them and they are quite a few cases out that that do that sort of
thing.

Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is a lovely phone and that's what I will be
getting quite soon but if you are wanting something with more power and ease of
use for navigating the screen and keyboard then the iPad is for you. In fact I
think that it would complement the iPhone quite nicely. I know I sure am
looking forward to having both an iPad and an iPhone.

  Subject: iPhone versus iPad?

  Hi all,

what can you do with an iPad that you can't with an iPhone? I know the screen
is bigger, etcetc, but why would you get one if you already had an iPhone?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to start a war, lol. I really want to
know. I'm wondering whether to get an iPad, or save up for a mac. I already
have a 4S, and whatever I get, I want it to be because it can do more, or
different things, or ttthere's no point.

for example, I have heard that you can do more with pages on a mac as it's
more accessible than it is on the iPhone, but is the iPad the same as the
iPhone? I would assume the answer is yes, because it uses the same app store,
but I'd love to hear from people if they can share experiences and/or opinions
and comparisons.

  Thanks in advance.

  best wishes,

  Danielle
