Lol,

Well, an analogy that doesn't help to prove your point would be kinda 
worthless, no?  Plus, it is my opinion.  How can an opinion not be skewed?  But 
if you read to the beginning of this section of the thread, someone mentioned 
that they have a lot of apps that use location services.  They said this 
greatly impacts battery life.  They went on to say they use airplane mode.  I 
suggested to just turn off locations instead of using airplane mode because 
they said they sometimes forget they have the device in this mode.  so, What 
Raul said is true don't get me wrong.  But no one ever said anything to the 
contrary of his statement.  I agree there are times when airplane mode is 
optimal.  But, if you only want 1 radio off, and there is a way to just turn 
off that 1 radio, why further
 cripple your device by turning them all off? That brings me to the analogy I 
used.
