Hi Sandy, You are allowed to hold your finger on the keyboard and wait until you hear the actual letter you want. This has not always worked consistently for me yet but did allow for inputting some of my stranger language choices.

However, placing the app in the doc means that I can use it after just one click of the home button, once in the app I have the option to email, message and copy, to name just a few. I have tried them all and all work well! plus, having chosen copy, I found it easy to adjust and correct my text before sending it. In this way, one could overcome the odd shortcoming. Go for it!
