Hi Keith,
Please let us know how it works for the phone apps as I haven't imported any
renamed .mobi books yet, but on the PC side it works like a charm.

I can't say for sure that this will not work. But it is my opinion that the
file structures are different and changing the filename will have no effect
when attempting to import into the respective application. I will give your
suggestion a try to see if it works, but I am not holding my breath.
