Lori,

I've gotten my two new iPhones through the mail. I got my iPhone 5 from AT&T
and my iPhone 6 from Verizon. As Andy has posted, you might want to go to an
Apple Store if one is convenient since you'll get good service from them. I
believe they have arrangements with all the major carriers since Apple
itself doesn't provide phone and data service.

I got the best deal by switching to Verizon from AT&T. I was no longer under
any contract so the promotions seem to be better when moving to a different
provider. You should try to get the provider that has the best service in
your area but if there is more than one provider with good service in your
area, get the best price. Verizon had a deal that ended the day I signed up
that had a $150 bill credit for new customers.

If you've been happy with AT&T, I expect you'll also get decent service at
an AT&T store since they were the original exclusive provider of iPhones and
I'm sure they're very familiar with them.

Good luck.

Hi Allen,

Thank you for your input. I'm planning on up grading my iPhone 5 to an
iPhone 6 hopefully soon. My 2 year contract has been up since January of
this year. But I haven't upgraded just yet.

My carrier is A T&T. So my question is when I do upgrade to an iphone 6
should I go through my a t & t carrier to purchase my new phone or go to an
Apple store? I got my iPhone 5 through Radio Shak 2 years ago but the
Radio Shaks all will be closing their doors for good.
