Family sharing allows you and six other people with you being the organizer to share iTunes app store and ibook store purchases with each other. What I mean is you can share movies music books apps with each other. You will be the organizer so if they make a purchases not from the purchases section under family but if they purchase an app from the app store that requires payment it will be charged to your account. In other words you will be paying for every one's purchase that is a part of family sharing. If some one wants to download an app that you have already purchased then they have to go to for example iTunes purchased content go to iTunes choose more and then choose purchased and then they have to double tap one of the name of the family member's purchases they want to view. If they want to view app store purchases then they have to go to app store. Then go to updates. Then go to purchased. Then double tap the name of the family members purchases they want to view. Another thing is that with family sharing you also get a family calendar as well wheir you can keep up with family events. There is more to family sharing but that should give you a little bit of how family sharing works.
