I don't buy equipment to save a few bucks or even pounds!
I just do my research, before i buy a product from amazon, and i have never
had any problems, with cables.
The charging cables i bought are better quality! and as i say, you just have
to make sure, you do your research and read the customer reviews.

I agree that the accessories like charging cables are over priced from Apple
.. but I'm willing to pay the extra to insure that I got a quality cable.
Not saying that the ones from Amazon are bad .. just be careful that in
saving a few bukcs you mess up your phone ...

first of all, check if it is the charging cable, that is causing you the
problem. as i said in my last Email.
and i wouldn't buy a charging cable from the apple store, as they are over
priced, and you can get as good or even better cables from elsewhere, such
as amazon, and you will have more choice, and you can get varying lengths.
just make sure, that you look at the customer reviews, and what ratings they
get.

My phone is plugged in and with the time the battery seems to be going
down. In half hour it went down from 87 % to 82 %. Couple hours before
it was at hundred percent. And during this time there was no heavy
usage of the phone. The phone was plugged in and charging. The battery
should have stayed at 100 %. Any suggestion as to what could be going
on and how to fix it? It is iphone 5C with the ios 8.3
