It's very easy to overcome those restrictions, and pretty cheap to do it too. I produced an audiobook, Imagine There's No Countries, that takes you through some of the methods. We use them at home here in New Zealand to get all the US TV we want, plus the vast amount of UK TV content that is audio described.
