Hi,

That’s because the original person who wrote about this didn’t realize he was
pushing the home button to invoke SIRI with a recognized finger print finger.
If anyone else uses the phone they can get to SIRI by pushing the home button
but, the finger print reader is on that button and, if its not your finger, it
doesn’t work

That's curious. I have my Touch ID and Passcode settings turned on to allow
access to Siri from a locked screen but when I tried beating the system by
asking for the temperature, nothing happened when I double tapped on the
Weather Channel button below the provided temperatures. My screen did not
change nor did the iPhone 6 unlock.

Hi Joney, this is easily addressed. You can prevent Siri from being used
without unlocking your device.

To enable this, in iOS 8 you'll find it in Settings, Touch ID and Passcode,
under the Allow Access when locked section. Turn Siri off from there. Actually
I would turn pretty much everything off in that section.

Unfortunately, it worked for me too. I was hoping that kind of thing would not
work, as when I go home, I'd like to keep it out of partying fingers. However,
that just means we go back to the same old same all, commonsense. :-)

So,

I have had my new iphone less then 24 hours and have found a way to bypass
every single security on the phone.

This will bypass your finger print and your pass code and give me direct access
to the phone.

I thought this was secure?

To do the trick is to ask Seri what the temperature is.

In the lower right hand corner pass the times of the day with the temperature
there is a weather channel button.

Click on the button that will open the internet or safari.

Once you open safari, hit the home button to close out of the net and it takes
you back to your home screen or back to the desktop as I like to call it lol.

I have the Iphone 6+. Not sure if this will work on other phones.

I mean like the 5S and 6.
