Hi all,

I’ve been doing some reading about taking iPhone out of the country.
Spacifically, USA to UK. From what I’ve read, the best solution is to turn on
airplane mode while in USA. Once in the UK, leave airplane mode on, but turn
on wifi. If I understand this correctly, iPhone will be able to connect to
wifi, surf, send/receive iMessages, & make/receive FaceTime calls.

Am I understanding it correctly? :)

The one thing I still need to double check is Verizon & Canada. If the
iPhone’s airplane mode should be turned on even before entering Canada.

Thanks, and let me know if you have other suggestions for traveling
internationally with a Verizon iPhone.

Traci
Oh, BTW, iPhone 5s.
