I have had difficulty with dictation as well over the past few weeks. However, just to be clear, I am not dictating to Siri, but instead am using the "dictate" button, wlocated to the left of the space bar. I prefer this dictation feature when in text editing for emails, texting and other apps that require written text. To solve this problem when my dictation is either prematurely ended, or I am able to complete it, but Voice Over does not automatically read it back to me, I move my finger around the middle of the screen until I find the dictated text and then swipe once to the left and then back to the right, so that Voice Over will read what I have written. I then double tap the screen with one finger to put the cursor at the top of the text. If I am satisfied with what has been written, I then swipe once to the right to the "send" button. However, there have been times when this button has been dimmed, so that I could not yet send the text. When this happens, I simply wait a few seconds and try to send it again, at which time I am usually successful in doing so. Terry
