I'm sorry if you've seen this notice before but I'm still looking to add participants for a study I'm conducting. The study seeks to address clothing questions using technology. Our focus is the barriers currently faced by people with vision impairments with this very visual entity. Participants will use the application VizWiz to receive quick answers to questions specifically about clothing and fashion from sighted volunteers. Use the system to ask questions such as “Does this outfit look okay for a formal party?” or “Does this shirt go with this tie?” You can even use the application while you shop! This study will run for approximately 6 months so we will hold a raffle each week for $20 to compensate our participants. Note, it doesn't mean you have use the system everyday for 6 months, we just want you to use it as you see fit and provide feedback and complete an occasional online survey. The only qualifications are being at least 18 years of age, proficient in English, and having an Apple device that supports the VizWiz application - either an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
