Ehm, I see it as a link. That is my screen reader of choice read the link to me just fine and when I hit enter on it I'm placed in a compose new email just like all mailto links works.
Looks like it's working just fine for me on my iPhone as well. The study seeks to address clothing questions using technology. Our focus is the barriers currently faced by people with vision impairments with this very visual entity. Participants will use the application VizWiz to receive quick answers to questions specifically about clothing and fashion from sighted volunteers. Use the system to ask questions such as "Does this outfit look okay for a formal party?" or "Does this shirt go with this tie?" You can even use the application while you shop! This study will run for approximately 6 months so we will hold a raffle each week for $20 to compensate our participants. Note, it doesn't mean you have use the system everyday for 6 months, we just want you to use it as you see fit and provide feedback and complete an occasional online survey. The only qualifications are being at least 18 years of age, proficient in English, and having an Apple device that supports the VizWiz application - either an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
