Hello Keith. I installed the firmware update and found no differences.
Brailleing has never been an issue for me but the Brailliant BI40 locks up when
I write in IOS applications. It's so bad that I can't take notes during
meetings. This makes the entire solution unusable. Humanware promised that
this update addresses the issue. I haven't seen any improvement. If you have,
please be specific and let us know why you think this update improved the
experience with the BI40. Please also tell us what devices you are using it
with, what version of IOS are you using and how much memory is on each device.
This will help me when I deal with both Humanware and Apple.

Thanks so much.

Paul

Subject: Re: Typing with a brilliant VI 32 on Mac and iOS

Hi, Kim. There has just been a new firmware update for the Brailliant released
in the past month or so which makes it much easier to type in Braille on the
IOS device. If you do not know how to update the firmware, let me know off-list
and I will help.
