Hello, Paul. I am using the Brailliant BI 32 with an iPhone 5S with 16
gb. I noticed some change, though not as much as I had hoped. At
times, I still have to press dots 4-5 with Space, which turns off what
is called QuickNav and makes the Braille appear.

In the middle of all this garbage with the Brailliant, I did make
another discovery. Often in meetings I will use the Braille layout in
IOS 8.3 and take notes that way. It appears immediately on the Braille
display so can be read back conveniently.

It's a little bit of extra hassle, but since I already own the
Brailliant, it is definitely better than trying to buy a new display.
This debate between Humanware and Apple seems to be continuous, with
neither side taking responsibility for the problem.
