Chuck, Your a Prince of a guy and thanks so much for telling me about the shift key and what it offers when using the mini layout.
I just typed this with the Fleksy keyboard and was quite pleased with the results. I did have to go back into settings to turn the Fleksy keyboard back on since somehow it wasn't listed as an available keyboard even though I hadn't turned it off. Computers and their mysteries...
