Same here, but I know people who have dropped their phones and had their 
screens scratch, crack, or shatter. Plus, protectors can prevent scratches from 
keys, or grit if you put your phone facedown on a dirty surface. Yes, the 
screens are pretty solid to begin with, but no, they aren't completely 
invulnerable. Even the sapphire screens Apple has been toying with for a couple 
years can break, though it's nearly impossible to scratch them. The glass in 
Apple's products gets tougher every year, but it isn't close to perfect yet.
