History does repeat itself, but it also does change sometimes. There may very
well be a separate iPad event, but look how Apple quietly and without much fuss
released the sixth Gen iPod, a major upgrade and if they had planned an iPad
even for October, why not do what they did last time and include the iPod then
and give it a boost by making a big deal of it.

iPad sales have been dropping and are continueing to do so as people realize
that these are devices which easily are useful for a 3-4 year period and while
Apple may make improvements and upgrades to iPads each year, they may end up
being more along the line of Mac updates which sort of get rolled out more
quietly and with less fanfare hence could be part of a September iPhone event.
Of course this year it is likely the new larger iPad Pro is being added so
Apple may very well try to make the most of it. They could of course also do so
in one single event.

Sieghard

Don't think that will happen given Apple's history. Next month sees the launch
of the new iPhone(s) for this year, then perhaps around October see the launch
of their other products. This year may be an exception though given the rumours
of a new Apple TV being announced at next month's event. We will have to wait
till 9/9.
