I have Tunein Radio Pro, so if you are using the free version I can’t speak directly to your experience.
I just downloaded TuneIn Radio Pro on a new iPod. Yes, flicking isn’t very good, but it isn’t reliable elsewhere in iOS 8.4. But, I had no real trouble finding the settings button and then logging into my account. Once logged in, everything works fine. My stations were there under my profile, I can browse or search without a problem all using VoiceOver. Flicking between stations in my profile works fine. I’ve seen results from sending them specific feedback and fixes turned up in later releases, so maybe you should write out specifically what you are having trouble with and contact them.
