That sounds a good addition and long awaited, especially for VI's.

Focus on any text field or a web page in any HTML view such as those in
Safari. Using the rotor, find "text selection". If it's not there, you need to
select it by going to Settings > general > accessibility > VoiceOver > rotor
and double tap "text selection". Anyway, flick up or down to choose from
"character selection", "word selection", "line selection", "page selection" and
"select all". Once the desired option is set, swipe with one finger to the
right to start selecting, swipe left with one finger to deselect. Once text is
selected, you can then do the usual things such as copy or even get the
definition of the selected text. Enjoy!

Yes! Text selection is awesome! I smiled from ear to ear when I saw that
all the way back to the first developer beta of iOS 9. Try it folks, you will

luck. When viewing a crash report I was not seeing Edit in the roter there.
However, thanks to the new Text Selection feature in iOS 9, I had no
trouble selecting all, copying, pasting into an email. So, I advise folks to go
to Voiceover Settings > Roter and add text selection. It's very handy!
