Maybe not 100% obvious, but the screen that opens when you tap on many buttons does have a “Help” heading and a close button which is what clued me in.

I am pretty sure this is the order it was in, but it will tell you and each time you put the phone in the requested position on a table or counter and let it sit still for a moment it will beep and then you go on to the next position. Personally with my small trial I found it very accurate indeed. I started it and then moved it only about an inch and a half and it told me it had moved 1.43 inches. I haven't tried it with actual measurements yet but so far I think it is going to be very good.
