SPEAK IT ROSE! I myself, will not update my 6 until I hear better comments on updates. If its not broken.. Why fix it Andrew ----- Original Message ----- From: Rose Combs To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, October 08, 2015 12:14 PM Subject: RE: IPhone 6 and IOS 9.02
Yes, I got a call the other morning, at about 8, never heard it, found voice mail later. Also got a message while doing laundry, phone in pocket so I should have heard the tone. Also sent iMessage last week and it appears it never got to intended person. All in all I think they spent too much time on flash, 3-D and not enough time on items that worked and now do not. I have an iPhone 6, running iOS 9.02. Since some of the things that seem to be broken are items I use often, and 3-D is not possible, flashy pictures, in fact anything to do with photos is not of interest to me, it is annoying to find that I cannot type on a Bluetooth keyboard, can’t send messages or that I miss phone calls when ringer volume is set to 100% and annoying as they might be, music I have chosen is louder than the preinstalled tones, some of which I would prefer to use because they are less obnoxious but seem not to be heard if I am in another room when they are sounded. I can live with it but why they seem to break the same things from year to year is annoying. All to please and dazzle people who probably turn off new features after a couple of days because they work but are annoying or not necessary. Cousin has an iPhone 6, never updates the software, it is exactly the same as when she bought it, unless her grandson gets hold of it, then it gets updates. She would tell me she does not know how, no extra attachments except for the Bluetooth for her car. Never uses earphones for anything. Of course she does not use VO. She would not let me take it off mute a couple of weeks ago because she was afraid I’d turn on VO. I tried and tried to explain, after we argued for five minutes her husband grabbed her phone, handed it to me and I turned off mute which she says she never turned on, so I guess the ghost did it. So didn’t know if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on what could try to solve this issue or problem? Thanks. -- The following information is important for all members of the VIPhone list.
