Hello Jeffrey, Unfortunately, the implementation of the sleep timer in the latest version of the iOS NLS BARD Mobile app is not a bug.
Like you, I find the fact that initiating the timer causes the playback to automatically begin, totally annoying and somewhat inconvenient but, obviously, the developers disagree with us. As I understand it, from someone who works for the agency, the developers do not conduct public beta tests. To increment the sleep timer, you must double-tap repeatedly on the button, but it’s hard to hear what the new setting is because the book is blabbing away.
