Yes, it seems to depend on how you unlock and lock. If I use my
fingerprint, there is sound. If I use the power button to unlock, it is
silent. Either way, it doesn't bother me.

I also get sounds. And once just recently, I got the time announced. Since I
usually unlock with my touch ID, there is no time for the time to be
announced. Nope unintended. For me, this is just not a big deal. Minor just
not a big deal. Nothing compared to the damn dictation problem. Smile.
