Hmm, good observation, Lois, I just tested this and can confirm that for me there is no unlock sound if I just wake up the phone to the home screen and it doesn't seem to matter whether I use the power button or press the home button. As soon as I use the home button with one of the fingers I registered with Touch Id I get the unlock sound if it unlocks completely and it's pretty darn hard to press that home button in any way which doesn't instantly unlock it on the 6S. But if I use another finger or the finger nail so it only wakes up to the lock screen, then there is no sound. I always do seem to get the lock sound, though.
