Hi,

I haven’t found a way to get Siri to do this.

If you use Fantastical 2, it’s possible. Just include an Alert request when you
set your event, i.e., “Add new event for Monday at 2:30 pm titled Activity, and
alert me 30 minutes before.”

At least that worked for me several times, but I haven’t done it in a few
updates.

Otherwise, in the native Calendar app, after you’ve made the event with Siri,
go in to the event, tap on Edit and flick through until you get to Alerts,
where you can set an Alert 1 and an Alert 2, such as 24 hours before, and 5
minutes before.

Subject: Question on how to have an event notify me in advance.

Hi group.
I am looking for other ways uses of IOS use the events in IOS. I put an event
or an appointment in my calendar using Siri. So how do I tell Siri to tell me
in advance of my appointment. Another words how to I get notified in advance I
have an appointment? Does Siri use alarms, belles or whistles or does something
come up on the screen in the morning or the day before reminding me of the
appointment. How do you all do this.
