Hi Robin, The ability to disconnect a call by pressing the power button while the phone is still held up to your ear is only possible with the 5S or earlier. I understand it works on all phones before the 5S. What Daniel described he is doing on his 6S apparently makes sense to him, but it doesn't to me since if I have to find the speakerphone button which I then have to double tap in order to put the call back on the earpiece before I can then press the power button to hang up the call I might as well just double tap on the End Call button. For one thing I think it's much easier to find since it's just above the home key and the other thing is that it is always there whereas the speakerphone button is hidden if the keypad is on the screen so in that case I'd first have to find the Hide button for the keypad, double tap it, then I'd have to find the speakerphone button and double tap it and only then can I press the power button to hang up. All these things are highly subjective but I find a well-practiced 2-finger double tap anywhere on the screen after you take the phone away from your ear is still the easiest and quickest way to hang up a call and at least in my experience it works probably 9 out of 10 times.

As I understand it from various Postings on this list, only the iPhone5S & quite possibly the iPhone6S+ have this capability of Hanging Up PhoneCalls simply by using the iPhone's PowerButton, is this correct? How about the iPhone4S? How about the iPhone5? How about the iPhone5C? Guess the Hanging Up of PhoneCalls isn't as easy as some of Apple's Experienced iPhone users might have "us" to beleive is true. It varies from iPhone user.
