Hi, unless I missed something. What's the problem with just creating a
Twitter account, setting it to private, not following anyone except the
accounts you want to monitor and using a Twitter app to read the stuff.

Boxcar, which has proven to be unstable of late, has a service that will
push tweets from selected users without you needing to be on Twitter
yourself. I believe Push 4.0, which is far more stable, has this too but
could be remembering incorrectly.
