Yea but does it say red or green, probably not.
To diagnose modem issues, the csr wants to know what color your lights are.

Hmm, I use the light probe app every day and it does indicate varying
strengths of light and locations by using a different pitch. You can also
tap the screen anywhere while the app is running and it will tell you what
percentage of light it's detecting. Zero through 10% is the lowest pitch
and it gets higher as more light is detected even while the phone is being
moved around. As long as the back facing camera is clear, it will indicate
light sources if they're present and you can use the rising and falling
pitch to zero in on the source.
I understand the issue with small LEDs, though. It's not always easy to get
the back facing camera to line up with the suspected light source.

I have this same issue with an old model Colorino. The opening that detects
light is really too big to see single smaller LEDs accurately it makes the
same beeping sound no matter how close/far it is from the light source, so I
don't even know how strong/bright the light is.

hi,
Does anyone else think that we need a revamp of the light probe app? for me,
for example, it works in general terms, that is, I get a sound indication if
there is a light or if there is no light. but, in these days, with all our
different devices/charges/indicators, including flashing LEDs, we need
something more specific. I need a clever light detector app! are there any
developers out there who might work on this?

just my thoughts, Sandy
