In Safari, I seem to have to flick left once to get to the done button and then double tap.

No, there's no need to flick left once you've gotten the picker to let you choose. I don't have difficulty anywhere with it except Safari. I seem to do it in apps just fine.

Don't you need to flick left after picking your item and double tap on
the done button?

Hi, coming in on this thread, I was using the picker extensively last night on a site where I had about three items which had to be chosen. I found that the items did not stay there I have indicated and wonder if there is something more that I should have done. Once I had picked the item, I double tapped on it, hoping it would stick. Any further comments on this would be most welcome. Thanks!

I do the same thing. When you adjust the rotor, though, if it wasn't on the right thing before and doesn't move through the picker, you actually want to choose adjust value, not actions.

This is pretty much what I do as well. Occasionally though, the single finger flick up or down won't move through the picker options but instead will do something like move character by character or word by word. When this happens, after focusing on the picker item, I'll go to the roter and make sure Action is selected, and then use the one finger flick up or down.

I don't know that any of the following will help, but here is what I do. When I encounter a pop up button to adjust something, I double tap,and sometimes, it says picker item. I do not double tap when it says picker item, I use a single finger swipe up, or down, to adjust it. Sometimes, when I double tap when it says pop up button, it just says pop up button
again. I then touch the lower right corner of the screen and it says
picker item. Again, I do not double tap this, the picker item becomes
active when it says picker item. I have to start using the one-finger
swipe up and down,to adjust it. A three-finger swipe up and down moves
by greater amounts. Also, a double tap and hold on the screen will
work. Always remember to swipe, usually left but sometimes right, to
the done button, and double tap it, when you are finished selecting the
item you want.

Hi, I am having trouble using the kicker on my iPhone. When I double tap
it so I can swipe and navigate two items. It acts like it's opening.
However, when I swipe up or down with one finger, it just says forward
do I turn off some kind of setting or is there a way to fix this? It is
very frustrating, because I have several sites that use the picker.
